Residency Alumni Exhibition
featuring work from over 40 former artists in residence at Main Street Arts
Since the artist residency program at Main Street Arts started in June 2016, a total of 52 artists from 17 states and Canada have spent one
or two months working in the studio spaces on the gallery’s second floor. This exhibition celebrates over 40 former artists in residence working in a variety of media.
In 2018, Main Street Arts became a nonprofit arts organization. Our mission as a nonprofit is to promote the work of local, regional, and national artists as well as to encourage the creation of art and develop community awareness regarding the arts. The residency program is an integral part of our mission. We are thankful to have gotten to know so many artists through the program and introduce them to the Finger Lakes and Upstate New York community.
We are very excited to see how the program will grow and, with your support, we hope you can be a part of that with us! Please consider making a donation to help support the residency program.
40 percent of all purchases from the exhibition will go directly to the artist residency program.
