For the fourth year in a row, we are hosting a unique painting competition open to students in grades 6-12 residing in Ontario, Wayne, Monroe, Livingston, Seneca, and Yates Counties.
This year, students will receive a 5in x 7in canvas and use it to make
a self portrait. In the age of the "Selfie", the act of painting your own portrait is much less immediate but also much more permanent,
it exists in reality and not just on social media. We encourage all interpretations of "self portrait"…
All artwork entered will be displayed upstairs at Main Street Arts.
All media will be accepted, the only stipulation is that the artwork
be done on the provided canvas. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their artwork in a professional gallery setting.
